I'm Hanh (she/her/hers), a graphic designer based in Boston. I believe good design is about conveying a message clearly and beautifully—not only to catch someone’s eye, but also to open their mind. If you or your organization is fighting for social justice and building community, I would love to work with you.
Previous clients have included MIT, Penguin Random House, Artisan Books, Brightly, WS Development, Neoscape, and Earthjustice.
Born in Vietnam and raised in New Jersey, I am a graduate of Wesleyan University. When not at the computer, I enjoy knitting and weaving, lifting weights, and watching Jeopardy! over a bowl of pasta.
My approach is collaborative and methodical. In the discovery phase, I take careful notes, ask lots of questions, and give consideration to both the user and the client. During brainstorming, I stay open-minded and invite input, believing there are no bad ideas. When it's time to design and refine, I am meticulous.
No matter the client, I aim to be dependable, organized, and upbeat. I stick to deadlines and constraints, and I surface issues before they threaten to derail a project. I care deeply about my work, but I leave any ego aside for the sake of a successful collaboration.
