For this daily puzzle game, I developed a new look and feel for the brand as well as the app itself. Combo Meal creator, Alec Plasker, wanted to lean into a maximalist aesthetic, to distinguish from the clean and sleek design of other daily puzzle apps. Inspired by retro food packaging, vintage cookbooks, and midcentury kitchen interiors, the new branding is fresh and vibrant with a wink-and-nod to the past.
