Penguin Random House

Between 2021 and 2024, I designed web banners, emails, and social media posts for Penguin Random House, as well as Brightly, its online resource for parents of young children. These assets were designed to be fun, informative, and approachable, helping parents find just the right book for their kids.

New York Review of Architecture

In 2020, I was commissioned to design a series of physical posters and social media posts for events sponsored by the New York Review of Architecture:  discussions among students, professors, and architects about how to strengthen design education to be more inclusive.

Collaborating with NYRA publisher, Nicolas Kemper, we chose to reimagine Walter Gropius's original Bauhaus Vorkurs design, invoking this 1922 framework for radical design pedagogy but placing it within the modern context.

The images circulated on social media and resulted in over 870 people registering for the inaugural event.

Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects

Before landing on the Bauhaus concept, I explored two other different directions, playing on ideas of construction, transparency, and modularity.

I collaborated twice more with NYRA, to promote additional events about design education and public spaces.
